The kiss scene was filmed on August 4 in Gyeonggi-do’s Gapyeong at a country club. Shooting the scene late at night at 2 in the morning, the two were said to have shown some initial nervousness before the shoot but were able to successfully complete the scene.

After their short kiss, Jae Hee pushes him off and says, "I think I'm a little drunk from what little alcohol was in the chocolate," making excuses. Jae Hee leaves quickly and finds her heart beating faster as she gently touches her own lips. This episode signaled an even faster advance in their romantic relationship.

It's been difficult to bring out that part of me in f(x), so I think it worked out well that I can naturally show something close to my real image through this role.
V.G. Did you reference the characters played by Yoon Eunhye or Park Shinhye?
Sulli: I referenced them in regards to outfits and hairstyles. I enjoyed watching both Coffee Prince and You are Beautiful, and truthfully even then I thought "The roles of Go Eunchan and Go Minam would suit me well." Haha.
V.G. I'm aware that you will become the main character in a love triangle. Between Kang Taejoon's brusque and manly style and Cha Eungyul's kindhearted style, which does Sulli actually like?
Sulli: Manliness is nice, but I still think that a sentimental style who looks after you well is good. I like guys who will talk to me first. Please reference this. Haha.
V.G. Could you become reckless for love like Goo Jaehee?
Sulli: If it's someone I really like I could do reckless things to no end, but I don't know if I could turn the cogs of my brain like Jaehee. I have no confidence in something like coming up with a perfect plan. I'm not very meticulous.

Minho: I began to practice about a month and a half before we went into active filming. I thought that it was easy up until the first week or two, but it was so different from what I did on Dream Team. High jumpers do a back flip and this is very difficult. High jumping is extremely hard even compared to other athletic events, so they say that even athletes avoid it.
V.G. Kang Taejoon is a character which any woman would fall for, to what extent do you think you're in sync with the character?
Minho: For now I'll put it at about 50%. We share many similar aspects in terms of personality, but things like our family relationships and the attitude with which we treat others are different. I watched the Japanese drama and looked for the original work too, but I can't say that we're completely similar because he's a character who is pure but still manly with outstanding looks. I'll just say that I want to express him well and emulate the character.
V.G. How will you show a different image from Oguri Shun, who took on the same role in the Japanese drama?
Minho: The method of expression is different according to each person who acts. I'm interpreting the character with a bit of a different feel from Oguri Shun. Rather than with words, please confirm this on August 15th through the broadcast! Haha.

You may remember SHINee‘s Minhoand f(x)‘s Sulli‘s promoting the Naver‘s mobile application ‘BAND‘, with their drama ‘To The Beautiful You‘ (‘For You in Full Blossom‘).The two previously released a promotional video showing Minho and Sulli behind-the-scenes while filming. They acted like a real couple backstage, smiling brightly as they playfully argued. Sulli had uploaded photos of Minho behind-the-scenes onto the application ‘BAND’. When Minho saw the photo, he started to chase Sulli down, who responded, “We’re the only ones who’ll see it!“, and Minho responded, “What if someone else sees?“. Sulli laughed and said, “Don’t be so cheap“, and the two didn’t lose their laughter as they went off screen.
The second part of the promotional video shows Sulli taking photos of Minho in secret and uploading them onto the application. After uploading, Sulli looks back up, but Minho had disappeared. In confusion, she looks around, only to have Minho appear right next to her and causing her to laugh as she runs away. Minho leisurely goes after her, smiling as he jokes, “Do you want to get yelled at?“.

ChosunIlbo visited TTBY filming site and had an interview with Minho and Sulli
Minho: The drama is originated from a Japanese manga, although the viewership rating is low, but the popularity of this story happened in a male high school of sports, judged from twitter and SNS, it seems like it's popular among the students.
Q: each other weakness?
Minho: Sulli is a smiling angel~ She always smile and laugh happily even though at the hard and tiring filming site ^^ about sulli's weaknesses.This kind of thing, can only tell when sulli is not around~ haha!!
Sulli: closed ears and ignore another people's comments, I say based on what I see, no weakness at all, really! (Minho) always say things that we like to listen to, Minho oppa is full of energy all the time, and always take care of me..hehe~
Q: Both of you are from the same company, and even passed the trainee's period together, acting as a couple, and have kiss scene, don't you two feel awkward?
Minho: When I was in junior high school and sulli was in her primary two, we started to take care of each other. At 1st, because we are really close, we were quite worried of the love line filming part, but surprisingly both of us performed very well during the shooting~ It seems like affection increased at the same time when we always praised each other.
Sulli: I show my own self during the filming, but it seems like Minho oppa is the opposite of me, he gave a totally new feeling.
Minho: The kiss scene with Sulli was NG-ed 15 times, at 1st the feeling is still good, but after repeating for many times, I felt tremble slowly.. Sulli: I was opposite of him, I felt nervous at the beginning, but I was calmer after that.
Q: The hardest scene?
Minho: The high jump scene in deagu stadium is hard. In the hot summer, was doing the running backwards practice for about one and a half month.
Sulli: For me it's the scene of dropping from the diving platform, it's the part where Jaehee is being bullied by her classmate, and pushed down into the swimming pool from the diving platform. Because there's an incident happened when I was small, so I am quite phobia with water. To complete that scene, I used the oxygen tank and tried to practice diving in the water first. I can only stay in the water for 2 seconds at 1st, to help me reduce my phobia, Minho oppa always sang with me in the water, or play rock paper scissors with me, so that I can practice happily.
Q: Rating on own acting skill, how many marks will you give yourself out of 100 marks?
Minho: I did not move out of the 1st step as an actor that well, I will give myself 1 mark 1st; I would like to continue to act in the future, and hope to increase the makes and achievement slowly.
Sulli: I will give myself 1 mark as well, because the practice in acting is not ended yet, now is just a beginning.
Q: What is your dream as an actor?
Minho: I would like to be an actor like Jang Dong Gun! I hope that at the same time as I am promoting in Asia as a SHINee's member, I can continue my career in acting handsomely. Sulli: Although it's a weird character which loves deeply and even willing to die for it, but I would like to try to act with this feeling one day.
Q: About chuseok, do you have anything to say?
Minho: The 16 episodes-drama, now only left with filming for the final 2 episodes, we might film the final episode during the chuseok holidays. I celebrated chuseok with family every year, but I can't do it this year, I feel pity of it.
Sulli: I celebrated chuseok with friends, family and relatives at my hometown Busan previously, but I can't do it this time.
Q: Finally, anything you would like add on?
Minho &Sulli: Because of that, we will work even harder to finish the drama shooting..The hot summer has passed, now it's the cold autumn, to all chosun readers, everyone must be careful not to fall sick. While eating delicious food with your family, have a happy chuseok too! Our drama, keep supporting it until the last episode! We will appear with a better image as singers and actors next time! Minho has caught attention for playing the male lead character in “For You in Full Blossom”. “As a lead character, it is indeed really tiring to lead the entire drama. As I lack acting experience, when I look back (at the drama), I sometimes will feel “Ah~ It is such a pity (that I could have done better) in this scene!”, as expected, these words came out from the man who has a strong desire to win, Minho.
Taejoon, the charcter Minho plays fell in love with Jaehee, the female character played by Sulli from f(x) under the same management company. Talking about the hot-discussed kissing scene, “because my relationship with Sulli is not bad to begin with, so I think that the effects came out well.” Was the kiss initiated by Minho? After asking him, he (replied) “Yes” hahaha and laughed bashfully.
He not only has a perfect appearance but also good in all sports; full of manly aura but yet gentle - simply flawless.” Analyze yourself what kind of person is Minho? “Cautious, tries to avoid causing trouble for others, will always embrace a positive thinking when dealing with anything.” During the interview, being unexpectedly being teased by other members, Minho seems to be very happy too.
When we told Minho what other members replied for “Q5. What recent event have caused you to feet the closness (bonds) between members?” - ( members raised the long absence of Minho as their answer), Minho responded “Really!” and seemed extremely happy. His beautiful eyes are even more dazzling now.

“I’m drawn to girls who are considerate about others’ feelings”
Minho, who was active as an actor, was the main character for the Korean version of the drama “For You in Full Blossom” which was also popular in Japan. “Since it was my first time being the main character, every single day of filming was an important experience for me and it became a great memory. I went to various places like a mountain and sea for shooting. It felt like we were filming while enjoying a trip. The members are always around me but I was suddenly by myself, so sometimes I felt lonely. Still, when I feel the pressure that “I must accomplish this even on my own”, I tend to put more effort towards it.”
The filming for the drama consumed a lot of time and was quite harsh. In that situation, what was the key for him to keep his skin and body to be in the best condition? “Sleep properly. At least for 5~6 hours.The more, the better (laugh). I turn off the lights in my room to ensure a good sleep.”
What kind of girl may charm him? “Someone who would wait, who takes good care of her boyfriend. By ‘wait’, I mean that rather than expressing her feelings, she’ll try to understand her partner’s feelings. I think it is important to be able to be considerate.”
- Question: Minho, what was it like working with f(x)'s Sulli in the drama To The Beautiful You? We heard you know each other since elementary school. Did anything interesting happen between the two of you during filming Minho: Working with her was wonderful since we're such good friends. Inside the studio flowing with chilly winter air, it seemed like a protective shield of spring was made around just these three people. Could biological siblings even be this friendly? The stars of the 94th issue are SHINee's Minho and f(x)'s Sulli and Krystal who were chosen as the "flower beauty" of idols.The question of “Will they actually be friendly in real life?" was answered as soon as Minho arrived at the shooting site. "Is it there?" He asked where the girls' make-up room was. He strode there and opened the door without hesitation. When Minho greeted hi, friendly 5-octave voices replied. While the shooting was held, they talked whenever they could and burst into laughter even when they just met eyes.
The photographer said, "It'll be good if you look even closer" during the shoot so they immediately put their heads together and linked arms. As soon as Minho and Sulli's hands were laid on top of each other, Sulli playfully said, "Ah, our hands touched!" The 20 year olds Sulli and Krystal are known to be best friends and it seems like a happy virus surged out just because they're with each other.
Even the people around who were watching them followed suit and became happier. The fresh youth and the refreshing time we spent with them. Minho made a love line with Sulli in “For You in Full Blossom”. It seems like it'd be awkward to film close scenes with a dongsaeng you've known for a long time. I thought it would be awkward at first but we just went and filmed it and there wasn't anything too awkward. Since we are already close, there were moments when we were comfortable acting but then there were some awkward moments when we just tried it (laugh).
I've grown a lot closer to Sulli while working on this project and she has become a dongsaeng who I truly cherish.
